Imagine Dragons- Night Visions

Imagine Dragons is an alternative band who has a really textured, unique sound to them.  "It's Time" is their biggest hit, you've probably heard it considering it comes on 93.3 all the time.  But that's pretty much the only song people know by them.  A couple weeks ago they came out with a new album called Night Visions and it is absolutely BEATIFUL.  The album starts off with the song "Radioactive" which is dubstep and alternative mixed.  A little funky sounding but it totally rocks.  My favorite song on the album would have to be "Demons".  It's one of their slower songs and that's a reason why I like it so much.  It begins with Dan Reynolds singing and the rest of the band in the back is really quiet so his voice really stands out.  Then when the chorus comes, the band just comes alive and it gets so loud and upbeat, it sounds like a totally different song.  Once the second verse starts it goes back down again. Imagine Dragons have such a great flavor to them and that is why they're my all time favorite band.

 

Night Visions definitely starts off with a bang with the song Radioactive
