Pet Sounds

I've always thought of the Beach Boys as a surfer band because the songs I'd heard from them were surf songs.  And I never really understood why people liked them that much.  I mean I can understand if you're in Hawaii or at the beach but just to listen to? Um no thanks.  But now I know why, 2 words. Pet Sounds. I can't even tell you how much I enjoyed this album.  Literally every song is different and that is freaking awesome. It's a little weird all the random noises they put in it though like the bike horns and the dog barking at the end. What does the dog have to do with anything? When "Wouldn't It Be Nice" came on, I automatcially loved it. It has such a great melody and it's not like the normal love songs that were playing at the time like "Love Me Do" or stuff like that.  It's just so unique like all the songs on the album and I am most defintely going to get this album and check out more of the Beach Boys later work also.
